Sleepy Star – Privacy Policy

Sleepy Star (“the app”) is a children’s game made by Studio010 (“we”, “us”). We care about children’s privacy. This page explains, in plain words, what the app does and does not do with information.

The short version

• The app is made for young children.
• There are no accounts, no sign-up, no chat and no social features.
• We do not ask for or collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone access.
• The app shows ads from Google AdMob, set up for children (see “Ads” below).

Information the app keeps on the device

To remember the child’s game, the app saves a few things only on the device: the stickers earned, where they are placed in the bedroom, the date they were earned, and the music on/off setting. This information is never sent to us or to anyone else. It is removed when the app is uninstalled or its data is cleared.

Ads

The app shows ads provided by Google AdMob. Because the app is for children, we ask Google to treat all ad requests as child-directed and to show only family-friendly (general audience) ads. This means no personalised ads, and the app does not use the device’s advertising ID.

To show and measure ads, AdMob may still receive some technical information from the device, such as its IP address, device type, operating system version and how an ad performed. This is handled by Google under its own policies: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.

Some ads, such as the optional “Free sticker” video, are shown only when the child chooses to watch them.

Sharing a picture of the bedroom

The bedroom screen has a Share button. When it is pressed, the app takes a picture of the decorated bedroom (it contains only the game artwork) and opens the phone’s normal share menu. The picture is kept briefly in the app’s own private storage so the share menu can read it, and is deleted afterwards. It goes only to the app the person chooses in the share menu. We never receive it. We recommend that a grown-up helps children with sharing.

Children’s privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app does not collect personal information at all, there is nothing to review, change or delete. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.

Security

The game data stays on the device, and the app asks only for the permissions it needs to run and show ads (such as internet access).

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update this page and the date at the top.
