Privacy Policy for Balancer

This Privacy Policy explains what information the Balancer game ("the App") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the App you agree to this policy.

1. Summary

Balancer does not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or any other personal details.
Your game progress (best score, coins, unlocked skins, sound and vibration settings) is stored only on your device.
The App shows advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect certain device information to show and measure ads (see section 3).
We do not sell your personal information.

2. Information stored on your device

The App saves the following data locally on your device so the game works between sessions:

Best score and coins
Unlocked and selected player skins
Sound and vibration preferences
Counters used to decide when to show an ad or a rating prompt

This data stays on your device. We do not receive it, and it is deleted when you uninstall the App or clear its storage.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App uses Google AdMob to display banner, interstitial and rewarded video ads. AdMob is operated by Google LLC. To serve and measure ads, AdMob and its partners may automatically collect and process information such as:

Advertising ID (Android Advertising ID / Google Play services ID)
IP address and approximate location derived from it
Device and operating system details (model, OS version, language, screen size)
App information (version, package name) and how you interact with ads (impressions, clicks, ad completion)
Diagnostic and performance information

Google may use this information to show you ads that are relevant to you (personalised ads) or less relevant ads (non-personalised ads), to prevent fraud, and to measure ad performance. We do not receive your personal information from Google; we only receive aggregated reports about ad performance and earnings.

Your choices for ads

You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ads personalisation on your Android device: Settings > Privacy > Ads (the exact path varies by device).
Where required by law (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), you will be asked for your consent before personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice later.
Rewarded ads are always optional: you choose whether to watch one to revive or to earn free coins.

4. Permissions

The App may request the following Android permissions:

Internet / network state: required to load and display ads.
Advertising ID (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID): used by AdMob as described above.

The App does not access your contacts, camera, microphone, photos, files or precise location.

5. Third-party links

The App contains a "Contact Us" button that opens our Discord community in your browser, and a rating button that opens the Google Play Store. These services have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.

6. Children's privacy

Balancer is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will help resolve the issue.

7. Data retention and deletion

We do not store your personal data on our servers. Data stored in the App can be deleted at any time by clearing the App's storage or uninstalling it. Data processed by Google AdMob is retained according to Google's own policies; you can manage it through your Google account's ad settings: https://adssettings.google.com

8. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the App and rely on the security of the Android platform and Google's services. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International users

Google may process information in countries other than your own. By using the App you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those countries, which may have different data protection rules than your country.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to its processing, and to withdraw consent. Because we do not collect personal information ourselves, most of these requests are best handled through your device settings and your Google account as described above. 11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at the privacy policy link on the App's Google Play Store page, and the effective date at the top will be updated. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated policy.
